me podrían ayudar con el emulador mess, me manda el siguiente error:
There was an error waiting for the windows "ahk_class MAME" .
Please check you have the correct version emulator installed for this module, followed any notes in the module,
and have this emulator working outside your frontend first.
Also turn off fade to see if you are hiding your problem.
al probarlo el emulador con el RL ejecuta bien, pero al momento de probar un room se queda cargando, y sale el error mencionado, lo mas raro es que con el Hyperlaunch ejecuta correctamente, les agradeceria por u colaboracion ya que tengo varios sistemas conese emulador, y en todos e lanza el mismo error..

Me tienes que dar más datos para que te pueda ayudar, me tendrias que decir si estas usando el modulo de Mame o de Mess y tambien la version del emulador que estas usando.

Por otro lado imagino que sabras que la estructura de roms de Mess es distinta a la estructura de roms de Mame, asi que necesito que me digas que sistema estas tratando de emular con Mess y un juego de ese sistema para decirte como debe de estar todo configurado.

Sin saber nada de estos es dificil que te pueda ayudar porque el fallo puede estar en varios apartados de tu configuracion.

Pues veamos, lo primero es lo primero, yo lo estoy probando con Mess 0.177 no con esa version que tienes tu que es de hace muchos años ya (aunque a lo mejor atari 5200 esta mejor emulado en esa que en esta version ya no lo recuerdo). Lo primero es ver si te funciona fuera de rocketlauncher porque puede ser que el error venga de base y tengas mal dispuestos los archivos para ejecutar el emulador.


Se supone que tienes que tener una bios llamada a5200 que tiene que estar dentro de la carpeta roms de Mess y luego aparte tienes que tener dentro de la carpeta de roms otra carpeta llamada a5200 y dentro de esta carpeta el juego galaxian, tal que asi:






Empezamos por lo básico que es esto y como veo que te fallan un monton de sistemas debe de ser algo global que no tengas bien hecho, una vez repases esto dimelo (y tambien si te funciona fuera de hyperspin/rocketlauncher) y seguimos adelante con el resto para ver que pasa.

funciona bien fuera de RL, cuando lo pruebo en HL funciona bien, solo que ahora estoy migrando a rocketlaucher. tengo la bios como se muestra en la imagen.

funciona bien fuera de RL, cuando lo pruebo en HL funciona bien, solo que ahora estoy migrando a rocketlaucher. tengo la bios como se muestra en la imagen.


Si estas migrando a rocketlauncher te habrás dado cuenta de que el modulo es para una version de MESS muy superior a la que estas usando y el problema puede venir derivado de ello, porque en estas nuevas versiones se introdujeron comandos nuevos etc...

De todas formas es que me adjuntas muy pocos datos para que te pueda ayudar, lo más rápido va a ser que me pases el log que te genera rocketlauncher despues de ejecutar el juego para que vea cual es la sentencia que utiliza mess para arrancar el juego y ver donde puede estar el error (pero vamos seguramente si usases una version más moderna de Mess no tendrias ese error)

Asegurate tambien por si acaso que en SETTINGS tienes la pestaña skip checks en rom extension que eso a veces tambien da muchos problemas.

he probado nuevamente me he descargado el emulador version Mess___MessUIs_0.161_64_bits_nonag-dinput_(insertmorecoins.es), que me pide el modulo pero me sigue mandando el mismo error

El ultimo log que me has pegado no me sirve porque no es el que necesito para saber que esta pasando. Necesito el rocketlauncher.log que es el que indica los procesos que se estan llevando a cabo en la ejecucion del sistema con el juego elegido.

Aparte como hiciste la actualizacion a RocketlauncherUI desde Hyperlaunch o HyoerlaunchHQ, ¿sabes que hay que usar herramientas para hacerlo correctamente no? ya que sino no te escoge Rocketlauncher.exe como utilidad para arrancar los juegos.

En la ruta siguiente mira a ver que pone en tu configuracion

\Hyperspin\Settings.ini

Dentro te deberia poner lo siguiente para estar bien configurado:

Hyperlaunch_Path=D:\Hyperspinnew\Rocketlauncher\RocketLauncher.exe

Si te pone Hyperlaunch no has hecho el proceso de actualizacion correctamente y por eso si te lanza los juegos con Hyperlaunch pero no con Rocketlauncher.

Pues por lo que veo tienes un conflicto cuando rocketlauncher intenta cargar el perfil de joytokey para usar MESS y a partir de ahi encadena algun error e incluso no permite la ejecucion de MESS.

Quita el joytokey solo en la configuracion de MESS (no en las opciones globales) y prueba de nuevo a cargar el juego, si sigue fallando quita el FADE IN y cargarlo otra vez y comentame si ves algun error en pantalla o algo y pasame también el log de lo que ha sucedido.

Para desactivar el keymapper en el sistema que quieras usar tienes que hacer lo siguiente:


Vas a la pestaña Settings del sistema que estas usando (en el ejemplo Atari 5200) y luego en Mappers lo desactivas para que no tenga ese conflicto con rocketlauncher cuando ejecutes un juego.

No, lo mismo no porque ya no da el error del keymapper, ahora simplemente no carga y me da a mi que va a ser por el formato en el que tengas las roms.

¿Estas usando el software list de Mess? o ¿estas usando roms en formato .a52? Las roms del software list de MESS para Atari 5200 vienen en formato .bin no en otros formatos y es posible que por eso no te funcione, yo las tengo en .bin y funcionan perfectamente.
